Makes GORGEOUS cards!! But 3 negatives . . .
I was just plain STUNNED at the quality of these cards - beautiful. THE BEST EVER. However, since they were brand new & unopened but inexpensive due to buying from an individual eBay seller I can't comment on the value of what they might have cost at full price. And, although I'm thrilled to have these very glossy cards for the first time in my life, there are 3 negatives that I guess people should keep in mind: # 1 - The word Kodak is written all over the back of the cards. (The manufacturer should not have resorted to that - I'm mean, who in the world wants that on their business card, no matter how lightly it is printed?!? Basically, I'm paying out big money to advertise THEIR company. Outrageous tactics. # 2 - The cards are pre-cut to produce MARVELOUSLY clean-cut edges; however, ... I was just plain STUNNED at the quality of these cards - beautiful. THE BEST EVER. However, since they were brand new & unopened but inexpensive due to buying from an individual eBay seller I can't comment on the value of what they might have cost at full price. And, although I'm thrilled to have these very glossy cards for the first time in my life, there are 3 negatives that I guess people should keep in mind: # 1 - The word Kodak is written all over the back of the cards. Outrageous tactics. # 2 - The cards are pre-cut to produce MARVELOUSLY clean-cut edges; however, they have been cut so deeply to assure the clean cut that the sheet of 10 cards was literally falling apart as I was putting the sheets into the printer. I actually had to tape the outer edge/frame to keep the cards from breaking up as they went through the printer roller. # 3 - Because of the above two matters, it is completely IMPOSSIBLE to have 2-sided cards, such as having an appointment date of the back. That's a pity, because I've never seen prettier, sharper-looking cards in ALL MY LIFE. It took my breath away and I burst into a huge smile when I saw the first sheet come out. So, if you're just doing one sided cards, and don't mind taping the edges very carefully before you put them in the machine, and don't mind Kodak written on the back of your cards, you might love these. To be fair, their being sent through the postal system might (?) have caused the cards to break apart prematurely, although the package was not bent up in the least when it arrived on my step (not crammed into my mailbox or anything).
