  • Blaming the victim?

The true stories of grizzly bear attacks are vivid, chilling, and will convince you never to set foot in a National park where grizzlies live ---- which seems to be the point. • Great book for Backpackers and hikers

Great book for back backers and hikers in bear country. I didn't really take bear safety seriously before reading this book, but now i sure do! Not for the light hearted though, very gruesome. I got hooked and read through it quite quickly while in Glacier National Park Backpacking.

  • Great Book!

I live in SE Idaho where Grizzlies also live. The book describes attacks that I think every person should be aware of. The book is very interesting, one of those that is hard to put down once you start reasding it.

  • very interesting book
