Stock Looks Great Mounted
It takes some special grooming of the stock to make the iron fit. Take your time and read all directions first. Don't start until you are aware of what it takes to fit the stock. Looks good afterwards.

Better Than Nothing
In my opinion (I have been in the shooting sports for over 40 years) ATI makes a stock for the mosin Nagant that is better than nothing but next to it. From what I see the stock will require careful fitting to most rifles and careful modifications for modern triggers and to float the barrel, install sling eyelets ect. It seems to me to be poorly thought out and poorly manufactured. Seems to be a Cheap Plastic Stock worth about in the $39.00 class of stocks. Can be made to work if one is careful. For those that tell you it is a good stock, buy one and see for yourself. Great stock..fired myosin Nagant and with good stock I bought, my shoulder is no longer black and blue after 50 rounds out of a 17 and 1/2 barrel lenth, and anyone who has fired a mosin Nagant with wooden stock and rock hard metal plate knows the pounding your shoulder takes is butal. this new stock Made it way more enjoyable to fire...

I had to do a little sanding to make it fit. But after that it looks great. Next I cut the barrel down to 22" and put on a redstar scope mount. Love the new look....
