    The GoPro HERO 9 is great. It's the oldest of the GoPro models that works with the current series batteries, and is a real bargain on price compared even to the HERO 10. Unless you have a specific reason for getting a newer edition, the HERO 9 is "good enough", especially if you'll be putting it in a riskier situation! Sure, you can't use the Max Lens Mod 2.0, but unless you need something like that, there's no reason to spend a bunch more when they're releasing new models every year.
