I bought this for my son to add to his ever-expanding Disney DVD collection. He had lots of unseen animated films to view so this took a backseat and he was unenthusiastic about watching it. However, when we did finally run out of alternatives and put Gepetto on, both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed it (over and over for a week!) It is the story of Pinocchio told from his fathers point of view. Combining great musical moments, lots of humour along with colourful, unforgettable characters, make this a true Disney classic film in my opinion. If you enjoyed Mary Poppins and Pete's Dragon, you will love this - definitely as good (if not better) than those. Available at a very cheap price on eBay (not many people know what it is,) please take my advice and buy it. You can't possibly regret it. You (and your family) will watch it again and again! You will enjoy...Read full review

My 3 yr Old Son LOVES this film & has watched it countless times. Full of vibrant colours & songs it hard not to like. I would highly recommend this for boys & girls of various ages & adults alike! A great take on a classic story. Great Cast + Great Songs + Great Story = Fabulous Film *****
I'm a huge fan of Drew Carey which makes me a little biased when writing this review, however this is an enjoyable film whether you like him or not. Like others I had my reservations when I heard Carey was to play the singing lead, but he pulls it off fairly successfully (He won't be opening in Broadway any time soon but he suited this part). While it is clearly aimed at children and would certainly be enjoyed by such, it is a good way for a light hearted adult to spend ninety minutes. There are a few moments when the cheesiness may become too much for those without a strong stomach, and the story, while a good idea, may have worked better in a different format. The songs however, are certainly memorable, and you'll find yourself singing them for a fair few hours after.
