Hey there, Yes, there would have been holidays in the transit interim as well as the postal service contending with the typical volume at that time. Furthermore, the shipping out time accords with the shipping times noted in the listing, which is in business days. So, the business days also would have been disrupted with holidays and the package was delivered within the previously allotted time as listed. I did not ship it later than designated as per the ad.

    This book is pretty sweet! A lot of personal things of Jim in here. Pretty cool to see his handwriting and drawings. If you're a fan of The Doors/Jim Morrison, pick up a copy of this book!

    Jim Morrison Scrapbook

    I was going to buy the Jim Morrison Scrapbook when I seen it at Best Buy. I decided not to because it was $40.00 and I didn't want to spend that much for a book that I could not even look at because it was enclosed in plastic. I am a big Doors fan so this book captured my attention because it had articles and pictures that were submitted from Jim Morrison's family and his girlfriend's family. So, I decided to look on Ebay and found this book brand new for $26.00. I purchased it. The book is unique from all the other Doors/Jim Morrison books (which there are several). It has alot of clips and notes that were Jim Morrisons art work, ect. There are a few pictures that I had never seen. It was worth the money. It is a scrap book style book so it is original. I think it's a great book ...

    Great supplementary to a biography

    I wanted the JM scrapbook because I'm absolutely in love with jim. The scrapbook contains a lot of great color pictures and little drawings, post cards and notes jim has written. It glosses over some of his past, but not a substantial amount that you would find in a biography, obviously. It really is an amazing collection of media.
