    Hadn't seen the movie in many years but it was just as good as I remember it down to the last minutes of the movie.. Lancaster and Cooper we're great together..

    I enjoyed seeing the old stars of this movie, and a few of the extras in this movie became famous like San Bronson and Earnest Borgnine. However, the main reason I got this video was that Jack Lambert who got killed by Burt Lancaster early in the movie happened to be the guy that hit me with his car in 1949 when I was 6 years old on Ventura Blvd. after leaving Universal studios.

    Great film but the special features are in Chinese. Not understanding Mandarin is a bit intimidating in this instance

    Classic western, my favorite Burt Lancaster role.

    A decent print, but it wouldn't play on my DVD player. Worked well on my computer, so the fault was probably with the DVD player. You shouldn't have a problem if your equipment isn't too old.

    A good old fashioned western

    Cooper and Lancaster steal the show in this lighthearted western set in the Mexican uprising against the Emperor Maximilian, who the French imposed on the country during the American Civil War. The acting is stellar, with a great supporting cast and filming was in Mexico, and the scenery itself is worth the price of viewing.
