Mat made with some nap, which better to not touch with wet arm - some nap will appear on your hand. Issue is in the size of the mat - it's pretty big and you are trying to fit it with less than 1mm precision. So it's hard to do alone. I did it laying on the floor of the trunk. You'll need to start from the hole and arm and after make sure all good - start removing back side film and go from the bottom to the top of trunk door. Good luck.
