    Top notch viewing

I've owned this movie for several years now and have enjoyed it every time I watch it. I bought this for a friend. If you are a Christian this is a must see. The cast was perfect in their roles. Gavin McLeod was excellent as a 19th century seminary professor as was Hal Lindsey. This had humor and drama and also hit home square on the mark.. It brought home it's point in a very direct way. I highly recommend this movie... It will renew your faith.

  • Wonderful and eye-opening

I never would have thought that a movie with such a deep theological background could be that fascinating. Dr. Carlisle lives in 1890 and is a professor at a Bible Seminary. He wants to publish a book and would like to have the endorsement of this Seminary. The thing is that the vote has to be unanimous and it isn't. Dr. Norris Anderson declares that there is a flaw in the book because it says that the teachings of Christ can be taught apart from His name. The other members of the board do not agree on that one and say (just like Russell Carlisle) that there are people who might be offended by the Church already and that these morals would be good for them as well. Dr. Anderson points out that this teaching leads to a set of morals that is subject to opinion. To prove his point and with ...

  • The Future is Now

This movie is GREAT! I LOVE it! It begins in the past when values of society were at a crossroads in the outcome of our future culture. One Seminary Theologian has just written a book teaching morals without the authority of the one who gives us these very same morals. Unable to see what this may lead to in the future of society, he finds a friend, and mentor who's father had invented a machine to allow you to travel into the future. He travels into the future, our present, and sees what a moral society without the authority behind the morality can lead to. Ashamed and daunted he returns to change his thesis. A very enlightening look into where we are as a people, and where our society is headed if changes are not made. I highly recommend this movie to everyone!

  • Time Changer

This is an excellent movie that explains why the morality of today has dropped to such abominable lows. The setting is the late 1890's and a bible professor has written a book about the changing times. One of his peers has an objection to one of his precepts and the others all endorse his book without qualms. The objecting professor wants to speak with the writer (Russell) about his objection. Russell is only upset because he wants his book published and cannot get the endorsement of the bible seminary without a 100% endorsement. Here comes the time travel. The objecting professor sends Russell 100 years into the future to show how we cannot separate the teaching of Jesus from Jesus authority. For without the authority behind what is wrong and right, people will decide for themselves ...

  • Good for Church Goers

Not a huge production, but better than other low budget Christian films. The acting was so so. It has a good message that Christianity has lost is message and had watered down the message of Christ and assisted in America.s loss of morals and true Christian beliefs. I am firm believer in the films primes. It is be a good movie that saved Christians would like. Time is short look at the signs around you.....of course John 3:16.
