Squeezebox Boom Music Wonder
Logitech Squeezebox with remote control is an excellent internet radio and music player for digital music. The sound is clear and crisp and this radio has some incredible speakers for a stereo radio with right and left tweeters and woofers. I bought mine used and bought a second used one for another level in my house. I listen to many types of music and this seems to provide great sound in small to medium sized rooms. Music on your PC can also be played via Wifi on the same network. I have one connected by Wifi and one via a cat 5 LAN cable connected to my router. Highly recommended for all types of music! Getting a remote control can be difficult so buy one with the remote control if you need that. Interface is not as easy to set up as the wonderful "Squeezebox" but it performs well.
Interface is not as easy to set up as the wonderful "Squeezebox" but it performs well. To me the scrolling around is slower and harder than on the Squeezebox. This boombox model doesn't have a battery backup feature which is nice to have if you want to listen to the unit for a while when it is not plugged into a power source. Also it does not have the color screen that makes it easier and faster to access information. Gone but not forgotten
The Squeezebox ecosystem was years ahead of its time. Even today with the help of dedicated open source developers it survives and is enhanced. The Boom is a one-box stereo music streaming solution with satisfying sound great for a den or bedroom. To bad LT bought the brand only to discontinue it as it has to so so many others.

For the size it is aprox 2+ pounds which tanslates to a quality build, not just added weight. At full volume there is no distortion, customizable audio. An old product but still can go head to head with what's on the market today
Logitech discontinued production of these but they still work extremely well as a tabletop internet radio and have audio performance that blows away most modern Bluetooth speakers in this price range. The range of services supported and features from phone / app control to audio playback sync is superior to other similar products currently being produced.
