Dirt to Daytona expands upon the groundwork established in NASCAR Heat 2002 by incorporating a new Career Mode where players climb the ladder from a rookie racing on lowly dirt tracks to a pro competing in the prestigious NASCAR Winston Cup. In total, each career spans four distinct NASCAR leagues, including the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Winning races not only improves a player's standings but also increases the likelihood of attaining a sponsorship. The extra money earned from sponsors can be used to upgrade one of 100 different vehicle parts. <br><br>In addition to the Career Mode, players can embark on a Single Race, Season, Beat the Heat, Head-to-Head, and Pro Trainer. Thirty-one tracks are included as players prepare to race amidst a full 43-car field. The damage model has been enhanced from the previous game, allowing for more realistic tire rubbing, collisions (even 20-car pileups), and sparks while jostling for first place. Over 20 minutes of video footage is included as well as tips from 25 pros in the Pro Trainer mode, where players learn from the experts on how to approach a specific track. Complete career statistics and season progress can be saved to a memory card accessory.

Arrived quickly and very nicely packaged. I had purchased the Spider-man game at a retro con and was so excited to find it I didn't bother to follow the first rule throughly check it. Product arrived with a crack in the inner circle of disk and some scratches (still playable, but was labled "very good" condition). Not sure whether it was caused by shipping damage, but the case wasn't damaged. Seller doesn't offer partial refunds, and didn't take a picture of the disk. If I order from the seller again, I'll definitely be asking for more pictures. Seller did offer a full refund, but they said they'd repost it with the same price regardless of the crack, which I felt was odd.

Just Like I Remember
I bought this game because I missed how much I used to play it when it first came out. The product arrived quickly and was exactly as described. It may not have graphics that are as enhanced as today's games but there is just something about the game that makes it fun to play and hard to put the controller down.

Best Nascar Game ever
This game brings you back to the true roots of racing and it is how many original Nascar drivers started out. You race on the dirt sliding around the tracks and showing your competitors who's boss. Next you move up to the Modified series and you race your heart out trying to make a name for yourself so that a truck team owner notices you. When that happens you move up to the Craftsman Truck series (now camping world)and race you butt off again to land a cup contract. Now your racing with the big boys and kicking butt and taking names. This game has it all except nationwide and who really cares about that when you have dirt trucks and modified? Anyways I rate this game an A+ for everything from racing to the graphics. WHY I BOUGHT IT.

Set up your car with very detailed adjustments from engine to rears and all in between.Open Wheel Modifieds next(Asphalt which bites). Then Truck Series to Nascar. Practice,qualify,Heat races,B mains and A mains. Should have put Late Models,Super Late Models and Ultimate Super Late's on dirt. Earn your Sponsors.Detailed control for car Graphics.Excellent everything for fun. Lots of Difficulty settings.This game is loaded up.
