  • Outcry in The Barrio

I read this book 4 months ago and the way it touched me is unimaginable. Im a changed person at the age of 19! Thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, and trough Freddie Garcia, alot of lost souls whom people believe that they didnt have a hope, they did! I am proud to tell you that after i read this book i joined the ministry of Templo Victoria (Victory Temple) which is the church this book introduces. We have many ministries around the world but our mother church is San Antonio, TX. Now here is the depressing part about this. I cant believe that someone is selling this book knowing perfectly well that our ministry gives these books away. So please dont give this person who is selling it, your money. This person obviously is not a member of our ministry or else they would know its not correct ...

  • Outcry in the Barrio

This book was purchased for a friend who grew up in the barrio, and his son-in-law had recommended the book because he had read it while in drug rehab. The story gave the young man a new respect for his father-in-law and the hardships overcome while growing up, going to college, getting a masters degree and making a good life for himself. They discussed the choices one makes in life, and how one wrong choice can change our destiny forever. Making the right choice can lift you to the heights of possibility.

  • this book is capturing. It made me cry and laugh. Great

I love that it hits so close to the latino upbringing, I could connect and it gave me hope that things can change for some many of our young latino kids in trouble. Freddie was so real and Ninfa was awesome, her love of a man that was so hard to reach. Insprirational a must read of a book.

  • Love it
