Atlas Pro gear RULES
Ok, so people from the Beavis and Butthead generation might say something rules. I am from way before that, and in my opinion the Ludwig Atlas Pro line of products does, in fact rule. New innovations are always coming about and Ludwig's Atlas Pro line is to the world of drum hardware what laptops, tablets and Iphones are to the world of computers. It makes for convenient, easy and practical use of percussion instruments without as muc lhabor and use of time to set it all up. Take a look for yourself at the whole line and you will see what I mean. I have and use all of the Atlas Pro stuff on all of my kits and pieces. But this is specifically about the hi hat stand. The hi hat is another example of how Atlas Pro has used innovation to simplify. The pedal is different than anything you have ... The hi hat is another example of how Atlas Pro has used innovation to simplify. The pedal is different than anything you have ever seen. It's a simple 2 step process to set it up and can be done in seconds, after the initial set up you do out of the box to your own unique preferences. The 2 leg tripod design takes up less space than the standard 3 leg setup, and it is amazingly sturdy and stable. Many of the 2 leg setups I have used do not stand pat like this. They wobble and teeter and creep all over the place. Not this one. I don't really get too exited about hi hat stands. This one is different. From the cymbal tilt adjustment to the position locks and responsive play-ability it's just better than any hi hat setup Iv'e had or used. It even looks cool. Like the old Speed King pedal. If you have the matching Atlas Pro bass pedal (I do) than your'e all set. It's spendy, but high end stuff usually is. If your'e serious about your setup, it's worth it.

Great hi-hat stand
I've used it for 2 years for gigs and practice and it has performed flawlessly. It's very, very smooth- much like their pro pedal. Very adjustable too. I got rid of my DW hardware and replaced it all with Ludwig's Pro series hardware.

Ludwig finally got it right.
I don't have this piece yet but I can vouch for the Pro hardware as I have the double kick pedal and love it as well as cymbal stands and arms. GOOD STUFF 👍
