    The Alpha we’ve wanted

    Upgraded from the A7Rii and it is night and day. I’m thoroughly disappointed it does not have S-Log in. Idea mode but the stills capabilities are spectacular. Sony nailed the autofocus system with this one. I’d miss shots left and right on my Rii and would have to keep my Nikon D4 for those types of action shoots but now I strictly use my A9. Worth every penny.

    High speed focus monster!

    Very fast accurate focus, I love the digital shutter vs the clunky mechanical shutter. coming from the a99ii this is a big win. The a99ii is a bit better when the focus hits but thats sadly not that often in action sports 90%+ perfect focus with dirt bikes full speed head on to camera very impressive.

    A dream coming true

    Finally the prices are coming down and I could justify buying a pre-owned one. I am using the A9 with a Sony GM 100-400 for bird photography and the results are amazing. The electronic shutter with 20 FPS is mind blowing and the tracking superior. No complaints at all.
