Best SNES power supply alternative.
With the original Super Nintendo Power cord reach $15 per unit, these are a great way to play your old system without spending a bunch. The amperage is much closer oto the original when compare to the 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 NES, SNES and Genesis cords. I've been using this for months now and haven't noticed any issues with speed graphics or sound. They also don't get hot like many other alternate power supplies. The item arrived very quickly. It seems to be well made and there is ample cord included. Although the NES can use AC or DC adapters as long as they are with the proper voltage limits, It's my opinion as well as some others, that prolonged usage of DC current might damage the NES, since it shipped with an AC to AC adapter. It's better to be safe than sorry. At the time I ordered this it was just under $9US, shipped. You really can't beat that. Save yourself some potential problems and get an adapter with proper voltage output for the NES. AT this price, it's great insurance.The item arrived very quickly. I bought an old Super Nintendo from a flea market for my grandmother who likes playing Super Mario and Pac-Man games. It was just the console without any cables. I found many of the two in one power supplies but the reviews were very poor and original power supplies were priced too high. This one seemed to be better than the two in ones and priced better than the originals. Don't settle for anything less than official
You'll always want to stick to the official brand when it comes to power supplies. Your average, cheap, generic third-party brand might cause interference, and might even damage your console in the long run. Why take the risk?

I was missing my SNES power plug so I bought this. I have it powering my NES and SNES since it has two different connectors for both. I don't know if it can power both at the same time but I am not going to try, since I can't play both at once anyway and, just in case, I don't want to damage the plug or my systems. It works just fine whether I'm play NES or SNES and now I have one less plug in my game room! It's very light as well, especially compared to the original plugs.
