This machine is easy to use and flexible in terms of changing the settings for volume, strength etc. The water tank has good capacity and is easy to fill. I would advise reading the instructions carefully when initially setting up the machine, as there are instructions for setting grind courseness, water softness, coffee temperature, eco turn off delay etc. There are many helpful reviews on youtube for this machine.

This is great for freshly grinding and brewing, produces a tasty coffee and very good crema. It loses a star for a couple of reasons... 1. Water tank is easy to fill and the grounds bin easy to empty. But a small quantity of grounds miss the bin and end up on the inside floor of the machine, which is black, so it's tricky to see and clean out. 2. The machine will make a very good drink from ground coffee, but if you want a good size cup (250ml +) you have to go through 2 or more brewing cycles, loading with one scoop each time, which is a bit of a faff. These are minor quibbles, it's a great entry level coffee machine.

I bought this product as it has a number of good reviews on the Internet. The price was also very good. It was to replace a Dualit coffee maker which was 3 years old and had started to become unreliable. The coffee produced is excellent, I like the ease of using this machine and the coffee it produces is good. I don't like the fact that I have to refill the water container regularly, this is because the machine uses some water to prime itself when it is switched on and off. However if this extends its life that's not a bad thing. Coated with the Dualit it is easy to use and easy to clean. However the coffee isn't quite as strong so I use more coffee. Overall though I like it and recommend it for anyone considering buying one.
This is the second one of these machines we've owned. The first lasted 7 seven years and made thousands of cups of coffee before the heater element broke. It makes great coffee which works out much cheaper than using a capsule type machine, and also does not create lots of plastic waste in the process

I bought this coffee machine as an upgrade from another delonghi coffee machine. It's so easy to use and makes great coffee once you have had a play around with it adjusting the setting s to your liking. It's a little loud but that is a small price to pay for freshly ground beans every time in seconds. Love it! All I need to know now is where to get it serviced, not for right now of course but I'll be wanting to keep this one a while!

Just love this machine, no more knocking out stubborn coffee and causing more work as a result; less equipment. Once set up, this is so time saving and consumer friendly, easy to clean too. Beans can be stored in the top of the machine, which saves a lot of time. The only annoyance really is the steam control knob, which is really stiff, good if you have children I guess, but not if you suffer with arthritis! Makes great coffee though! Love the adjustable coffee nozzle, really useful for different height cups.

Once you've set it up it's great and easy to you use. We have only tried one brand of coffee (Aldi own coffee beans, which don't have the best flavour) and we still need to explore how to make certain types of coffee like lattes etc... We bought this 2nd hand was half the price than new and in great condition. All in all very pleased

This replaced the same model of De Longhi coffee maker that we had for 6 years and was used nearly every day several times to make our favourite coffee. The new model is slightly different in appearance and quieter but makes equally great coffees. Bought from the Co-op on line at a substantial discount to the retail price. Despite being Italian - very reliable piece of equipment and we expect to get many years of service from our new purchase.

Decent affordable coffee/expresso maker from beans or ground coffee. Automatic switch off features means that the heating unit will not burn out as with the previous model. For domestic use, it is a very decent machine that makes good coffee (if you use good beans - it is all taste dependant), and easy to look after and maintain. Note that the different bits do not go in the dishwasher. This machine is at the lower end of the price scale for bean to cup expresso/coffee makers, is a bit noisy when grinding the beans and pumping water, but the resulting coffee is good. Easier to use than the manual expresso machines, with no risk of making a mess. The used coffee container is easy accessible, and the machine indicates when you need to empty it, or when the water tank is empty. One disapointment, is that the machine does not tell you that you have not enough water to make a cup when you there is still a bit of water in the tank, and when it runs dry you may end up with a strong half cup. But a glimpse through the tank side shows it anyway. I like my coffee and this little machine. I am even considering getting one for the office.Read full review
It's a very good coffee machine and the option to use ground and bean coffee is great. My only issue is if I make coffee and then heat up the milk it takes a long time to get ready for another one. Maybe there's a way to do this but I don't know how. If there's a way to speed this up would be nice if anybody can explain this to me. Cheers
