The only bad thing was the description stating the model# to the pamphlet received model# and the actual device are all different. I had to purchase a remote which is needed to record (dubbing). Lesson learned on my part to look at the device. I m excited that I have now recorded 5 dvd s from my childhood vhs tapes. Seller got with me and made a partial refund.
