Notes
Breathe on the Nations Internationally renowned Gospel singer, instrumentalist, song writer and music director Terence Clayton is most admired for his soulful, contemporary yet classic, "Good time in Church" style. Over his enduring career this highly sought after Christian artist has shared the stage with Gospel giants such as Alvin Slaughter, Gary Oliver, Karen Wheaton, Dr. Bobby Jones, Marvin Sapp, Vickie Winans, Angelo & Veronica, Lashun Pace and many others who have recognized and enlisted his talents; talents honed through years of discipline. Although Terence's gifts are God given, their maturation is due in no small part to his mother who, after discerning his potential, forced then seven-year-old Terence to play the piano daily for hours. "I despised the piano!" says the former Indiana native. However, after a while he began to love it, and with it the ministry of music and song as a whole. He eventually studied his craft at the High School of the Performing Arts in Indianapolis and later attended Indiana University. Terence completed his studies at the University of Miami and discovered South Florida to be nothing like his home state. "I realized Florida only has two seasons; warm and hot." Indeed Terence's skill set has led him to far-away places conducting workshops in South Africa, Jamaica, Barbados and Canada; and also afforded him employment as Pastor of Music at the distinguished, global ministry of Jesus People Ministries Church International in Miami, Florida under the leadership of the Late Bishop Isaiah Williams, Jr. and First Lady, Dr. Gloria Williams, now Senior Pastor. Terence also served as Minister of Music at another International ministry, Cornerstone Christian Center Church in Pembroke Pines, Florida under the anointed pastors Drs Henry and Teresa Daniels. "Serving in these capacities was perhaps the most honorable ministry opportunities of my life...and has propelled me into a professional realm that I'm ever so grateful for." Terence is now a full-time Minister of Music performing with and training choirs and soloists throughout South Florida and the United States. If you haven't already experienced Terence, it won't be long because he's not willing to rest on past laurels and ever strives to reach the masses with his musical messages from God. Highly respected by his contemporaries in the industry, he is careful not to accept just any invitation. Although often inundated with ministry opportunities, he labors prayerfully over which projects to pursue; wanting only to be in the Father's perfect will. This is why Terence's new release, "Breathe on the Nations" is a must-have for serious collectors of Christian music. It was drawn from deep places in the Holy Spirit; not an attempt to get something done on deadline or to put something out to make money, but a genuine offering to the world in the last days. "In such perilous and despairing times, the Lord spoke to my heart and gave me the inspiration to record my first CD, 'Breathe on the Nations.' This song particularly speaks and ministers from the heart of an intercessor." Terence quotes Second Chronicles 7:14, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will heal their land." "Because we are worshippers and ministering before the Lord face to face, I often hear the voice of the Lord calling me to pray for the nations. Just as the prophet Ezekiel was placed in a valley of dry bones, the Lord spoke and said, 'Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.' Knowing that it is the will of God for a time of latter rain, I now ask the Lord to 'Breathe on the Nations.'"
