Wonderful little beast.
This thing surprised me, after getting annoyed with the size/performance ratio of my GTX 760 2GB I decided on a low profile high performance card. Online posts say that this should only be a slight upgrade from a GTX 760 but this card is anywhere from 30-40% faster in some of my tests and is A LOT cooler and way quieter. While also being half the size and using less power and no power connector! This thing surprised me, after getting annoyed with the size/performance ratio of my GTX 760 2GB I decided on a low profile high performance card. Online posts say that this should only be a slight upgrade from a GTX 760 but this card is anywhere from 30-40% faster in some of my tests and is A LOT cooler and way quieter. Excellent performing card for any SFF up-gradable system.
Purchased this card for my HP EliteDesk 800-G1 small form factor system that replaced a dedicated GT1050 LP card. The graphics performance coupled with a 4th gen Core i7 is absolutely night and day difference! The low power draw of this GTX 1050 Ti means I can still run this with the stock power supply without any issues! The price for this older card was a little high but because my GPU options are limited by size and power it is definitely worth it! if you have a small form factor or regular computer and want a great graphics card this is the thing to buy. I have a older dell OptiPlex 990 desktop computer with a Intel i7 2600vpro @3.40ghz with 12gb ram that had a NVidia gt710 in it and I put this in and I have not found a game I couldn't play. no need to use the msi afterburner software this graphics card is great. and to answer one of many questions. yes it does come with a low profile bracket.if you have a small form factor or regular computer and want a great graphics card this is the thing to buy. Still performs well and excels in its sweet spot
Even with the age on this card, it is fully capable of upgrading an office pc substantially. While not capable of AAA gaming, except with low FPS on its lowest settings, it performs well with eSports titles and online gaming. It is is also has low-power consumption and is low-profile for smaller cases. Amazed at how well it performs.
