    Excellent quality, one of the gem of the Nikon System

    Beautifully constructed Nikkor 135 lens, sharp, nice colours. The DC can be useful especially for the background defocus as the foreground defocus can create an impression of softness which can sometimes spoil the picture. It takes a little bit of time to get use to the DC and it's effects on the image, the rule of thumb being you've got to stay under the aperture you are currently using. Works very well on my D800. Portraits quality is first rate and it is a lot lighter than the 70-200mm F2.8 VR + brighter. I did not have any issue with the focusing and I believe it can be used for indoor sports as well.
