There is no indication on the front panel, display or LED, to indicate "power on". This means that if the TV is off, the only means of ensuring DVD is off is to switch off at mains. Trivial yes, but irritating: black mark Sony. For this simple omission I wouldn't buy again. I'd save my money and buy a Tosh!
