Synopsis
"Writing with both sharp wit and terrific emotional warmth, Phillips delivers another of her supremely satisfying contemporary romances." -- Chicago Tribune Perennial New York Times bestselling author Susan Elizabeth Phillips is easily one of the most beloved authors of women's fiction in America--and with her wonderfully witty What I Did for Love, she works her magic once again. Turning her satirical eye on Hollywood and the messy love triangles of its major superstars (think Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie), the incomparable Susan delivers a treasure of a romantic comedy that the Detroit Free Press calls "a laugh-out-loud tale," and Publishers Weekly calls a "massively entertaining romp." Read What I Did for Love and discover why Susan Elizabeth Phillips has won more Favorite Book of the Year Awards from the Romance Writers of America than any other author, including Nora Roberts., "Writing with both sharp wit and terrific emotional warmth, Phillips delivers another of her supremely satisfying contemporary romances." -Chicago Tribune PerennialNew York Times bestselling author Susan Elizabeth Phillips is easily one of the most beloved authors of women's fiction in America-and with her wonderfully wittyWhat I Did for Love, she works her magic once again. Read What I Did for Love and discover why Susan Elizabeth Phillips has won more Favorite Book of the Year Awards from the Romance Writers of America than any other author, including Nora Roberts., How did this happen Georgie York, once the costar of America's favorite television sitcom, has been publicly abandoned by her famous husband, her film career has tanked, her father is driving her crazy, and her public image as a spunky heroine is taking a serious beating. What should a down-on-her-luck actress do Not go to Vegas . . . not run into her detestable former costar, dreamboat-from-hell Bramwell Shepard . . . and not get caught up in an ugly incident that leads to a calamitous elopement. Before she knows it, Georgie has a fake marriage, a fake husband, and maybe (or not) a fake sex life. It's a paparazzi free-for-all as two enemies find themselves working without a script in a town where the spotlight shines bright . . . and where the strongest emotions can wear startling disguises., "Writing with both sharp wit and terrific emotional warmth, Phillips delivers another of her supremely satisfying contemporary romances." --Chicago Tribune Perennial New York Times bestselling author Susan Elizabeth Phillips is easily one of the most beloved authors of women's fiction in America--and with her wonderfully witty What I Did for Love, she works her magic once again. Item description from the seller
Seller feedback (44,953)
- e***d (292)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseGreat price for this huge book. Shipping was delayed but not too unreasonable though the book could have been packed a bit better with some bubble wrap as it tore through the very thin mailer envelope. Would recommend seller to cushion heavy books better when using thin mailer envelopes to avoid the tearing and potentially loosing books. Book is as described! Satisfied with my purchase and would buy from again if packaging was more sturdy. Thank you :)
- p***r (143)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseAs described ,nice price, quickly shipped but not in a padded envelope, nor with a cardboard padding inside a regular envelope, so corners of book were free to be bumped in transit. They were not. The book looked good even with a tear at one corner of the envelope. Both the seller and the buyer were lucky.Fire - Chihuly, Dale - Very Good - See condition notes (#167369993381)
- s***k (123)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseHigh quality book arrived in good condition as described. The book's appearance is satisfactory. A great value! Shipping: Seller shipped promptly. But I received an eBay message saying: USPS made a delivery attempt but were unable to proceed due to an insufficient address. Huh? Also, shipping history said book was "Held at Post Office At Customer Request." I didn't request this to be done! Next day I went to my USPS office. They fished around & found package. My address was correct. Weird.Photographing People (Kodak No Nonsense Photography Guides) - O'Connor, Mich... (#156481824914)
