    Sleek and pretty, but make up and paint, make it what it 'aint.......

    Yes, it is a 'brush'. Yes, it is a 'straightener'. However, if you are looking for a flat iron effect this is not it. Nor is the Amika version which is essentially identical. My hair is fairly easy to flatten, but this tool leaves some body, and you don't get the sleekness you would from a flat iron... even with hair oil, pomade, etc. This was also used on my daughter's hair which is thick and full. It 'straightened' it within about 15 minutes, but her hair was still full.

    Meh

    This straightening brush heats up super quick and does not pull on your hair, but its definitely not as effective as my super old chi straightener. I have thick, wavy hair and I was excited to have something quicker in the morning, but I'm saddened to say that this doesnt work like I wanted it too. Maybe if I got better quality, or maybe it's just the design.

    Best Hair Straightener For Thick Hair!

    Thank you! I have very thick hair, and this brush/ straightener is easy and safe to use!! With my very thick hair it would normally take me 2 hours to do my hair to as of now it only takes 20 to 30 mins MAYBE!! Love it!!

    Not great

    I have thick, wavy, naturally curly hair, I let my hair air dry and then use my styling tools. I was disappointed in the performance of the La’Vite. While it does heat up quickly, it didn’t “straighten “ my hair as expected. It did snag on some of my hair despite the fact that I section and comb my hair as I straighten it. The fly-always were also an issue and I ended up having to use my flat iron to complete my style.
