    a serendipitous surprise

    I bought this to go with a 420-800 manual zoom knowing that 2x extenders and manual zooms are fun TOYS and not a real lenses. HOWEVER, to my great surprise not only does my E-bay $35 dollar manual zoom work but now it is a 1600mm and it actually takes good pictures with a bit of help from TOPAZ SHARPEN. Sometimes things just work out, I believe the term is serendipity. It's not one of my Canon "L" lenses but nevertheless it is a fun and useful "toy".

    Double my t-mount lenses for cheap.

    I have two Opteka t mount lenses a 500mm mirror and a 500mm refractor lens, this doubles both on the lenses, considering the price, it is a very good deal. It is sharp enough for my needs.
