    Good Floppy Drive Once Defective Cable Replaced b

    This 40 year old floppy drive works. For under $60 including shipping a good deal. However, as received it was dysfunctional. Its connecting ribbon cable was unusable; the connector to the computer was cut off. Fortunately, I had a spare from the drive it replaced. Once the spare was installed, the drive worked.
