GOING BERSERK: In this hilarious comedy, stars of the Emmy winning SCTV comedy troupe lampoon everything from religious cult to kung fu movies. Even the classic television series "Father Knows Best" gets the comic treatment.GREAT OUTDOORS: Two brothers-in-law, whose only shared trait is their intense dislike for one another, set off on a comic misadventure when their two families share a summer vacation home.UNCLE BUCK: When Bob (Garrett M. Brown) and Cindy Russell (Elaine Bromka) have to leave town for a family emergency, they are left with no alternative but to call in Bob's brother, Buck (John Candy), to baby-sit. A jobless lifelong bachelor with a heart of gold, Buck hardly seems the ideal baby-sitter. Charged with caring for his smart-mouthed teenage niece, Tia (Jean Louisa Kelly), and her two outspoken younger siblings, Maisy (Gaby Hoffman) and Miles (Macaulay Culkin), Buck finds himself learning how to survive in suburbia and parent at the same time. At first, Buck doesn't even know how many times a day to feed the dog, much less the kids. He battles the washing machine and sends Miles to school with an utterly inedible bag lunch. But little by little Buck begins to take his responsibility seriously, putting the needs of his nieces and nephew before his own, earning their love and respect. With any luck, his newfound familial instincts will help him win back his estranged girlfriend, Chanice (Amy Madigan), who is tired of his refusal to commit to marriage. Directed by John Hughes (SIXTEEN CANDLES, THE BREAKFAST CLUB), this film was shot in various Illinois locations.

    You cant go wrong with John Candy. This 3 dvd set contains Going Berserk, The Great Outdoors, and Uncle Buck. All three movies are funny and entertaining. Overall a great value and a great price. Now if the estate of John Candy would give permission to release the entire Camp Candy Cartoon Series, that would be excellent.

    We lost John Candy too soon, but at least we can still watch his classics. These are just a few of them. Also recommend Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Who’s Harry Crumb, and Spaceballs. Good, goofy, touching family fun.

    You can never go wrong with a John Candy movie and here you have three. All of there are great. He knows how to create a scene with just a look to make you laugh and wonder what is coming next because you know it will be fantastic.
