      Exact replacement for original

      I bought secondhand a DMREZ49 combined VCR/DVD recorder which came without the original remote control and I found that several of the functions could only be accessed via the remote control. This device looks exactly like the image of the remote control pictured in the handbook and works perfectly with the recorder. It is similar but not identical with the remote I have for a Panasonic HDD recorder, but it is possible to set up different code sets for each unit so that they do not interact. While more expensive than generic remote controls I found this to be a very satisfactory purchase which was delivered promptly.

      This remote control was a replacement for a failed identical unit, so expected and got a really good quality item. No problem with control of Panasonic machine or Samsung linked TV. Great.
