Astro a10 unbiased review
I've owned several different types of Ps4 headsets, ranging from the Wireless LS 30, The So called hyper cloud X, The original fragile Sony gold headset(3 of them),Turtle beach px24, and the Wireless Turtle beach stealth 520, and now the Astro a10. My opinion is unbiased and I'm not a paid endorser who is sponsored by any company. The thing about reviews is that when you read them, some things you will agree with and others will be blatant fabrications/lies. Without some type of amp, most wired headsets sound horrible. With an amp that is where you can hear the differences from each of the brands. After wearing the other brands, the one thing I noticed immediately were how heavy the Astro a10 felt on my head. I felt this right away and there is no way I could game with these on for hrs. Sound had a lot of bass. Highs and mid sounds were above average. Cord was long enough and unlike most, I liked the volume control on the wired cord. Mixed feelings about the mic, others say I sound fine, but I felt the flip mic on the headset was a little too short in length. Would like a newer model to be lighter, slightly longer mic, more treble and mid range. But then isn't that asking a lot of a 59.99 headset?Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Little weird in the beginning but now it’s good

Honest review
Bought these because current A10 has a bit of a loose mic from being used. These work perfectly fine! Arrived in original packaging, delivered a day earlier than expected, and basically brand new. Wire works, mic works, and can hear perfectly out of the headsets. (Wire and headset came perfectly wrapped and packaged)

Great Product.
I feel that most of these reviews never tell like how the product came and how it performs. The headset came in original box and original Astro cable. They sound great and way better than my PlayStation Golds. That are wireless. Love the A10s. The have the sound quality of truly wonderful gamer headsets. I got tired of my wireless sets needing to be charged. Tried several other plug ins but they either had too much feed back for my chat party participants or they had crap sound quality for my in game listening. Just Wow!! Better than expected!!
These headphones are amazing. Crisp quality and extreme comfort! I bought these to replace my other wired headphones and it was an the best choice out of 5 options I had lined up. I also have a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Bluetooth headphones that are my main headphones I use to game but these A10’s feel better than those and I find myself using these headphones a lot more than my turtle beach’s!! Astro A10 Perfect for PC
Unless you buy the red PC specific headset you will need to purchase a separate Y splitter for mic and headphone for the mic to work on pc. I upgraded from an older pair of gaming headphones and I’ve used Razer, Steelseries, Turtle beach and Alienware and I think for the price it beats them all! Amazing sound and if you buy Dolby Atmos headphone software (like 10-$15 on windows) it opens these headphones up and it’s perfect! Battlefield, Call of duty and many others sound so much better! Friends are much happier with this mic as it’s clearly heard. Much easier to communicate during game. Complaint: Not really a full blown complaint but they are a bit small. Had to raise headset to fullest level for it to fit properly. This may be an issue for some.
