    Hooker and friends....

    John Lee Hooker invited a who's who in music to play with him on this album. The title track features the fantastic guitar work of Carlos Santana. On the 2nd track Bonnie Rait joins him on vocals and the 3rd track the noticeable guitar work of Robert Cray. Los Lobos and Canned Heat also play with Hooker. If you like the blues you'll love this album.

    Made My Trio

    He made three albums in succession, The Healer, Chill Out and Mr Lucky, while surrounding himself with the top echelon stars of RnR and the Blues. Santana, Keith Richards, Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Winter, Ry Cooder, John Hammond, Van Morrison all participating in various songs. I just needed this one to complete the other two.
