    Spot on, good distinction from 'rainforest tropics'.

    I knew the book before I bought it so knew what to expect. Good format for a field guide, not too big to put in your backpack. Layout excellent, sections for trees, shrubs, vines and forbs. Photos of relevant features of plants ie closeups of flowers or fruit plus bark or whole of plant, drawing of growth forms, description of what and where to look for plant. Scientific and Common names. Highly recommended
