    Thumbs Up on the Conair HLM10

    This version of the Conair hot lather machine is wonderful. I bought it to replace the same Conair that I bought about ten years ago, which finally wore out. BUT WARNING: Stay away from the Conair "Eclipse" machine! The "Eclipse" is a total dud and uses a size can that is no longer made, It was discontinued and replaced by the Conair HLM10 model, which I have nothing but praise for.

    Not worth the money.

    This machine calls for a different size can of shaving cream than what you buy in the store. We had to put several papertowels underneath the can. The shaving cream came out luke warm. It is a very old model so I am thinking that is why it was discontinued.

    A Comfortable Shave

    This product performed as promised. It heats up the shaving cream to a comfortable temperature and uses standard 11 oz. cans. ShopRite supermarket no longer carries 11 oz cans to fit this (selling only 7 oz. cans) but I found an ample supply in Walmart, so I stocked up on them in case Gillette or Barbasol (the only two companies still making shave cream in a can, as opposed to shave gel, which this item does not accept) discontinue the 11 oz. size. Apparently, Conaire discontinued manufacturing this item 20 years ago, which originally sold for approximately $20, so supply and demand is such that sparsity of these drives up the selling price. If you can find one in like new condition like mine, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable shave.

    good hjot foam for better shave

    The item was very well cleaned. Looked almost new. Works fairly well, but does take a full 2 minutes to eat the lather, which has me wondering how long it may last. That said, So far, so good.

    Conair Hot Lather Dispenser

    I've used a Conair Hot Lather Dispenser for over 20 years and wouldn't be without one. I've noticed an unacceptable price increase of new dispensers over what I paid in past times and also notice that the newer dispensers DO NOT get the lather as hot as previous dispensers did - but I was able to find a good quality used dispenser which works fine and is highly recommended for a more comfortable shave experience.

    Produces warm shaving lather

    I had a similar model back in the day. The shaving cream warmer works good. I did dispense, shaving cream while the light was red. The lather was not as warm as when the light is green. So the light will go bk n forth as you shave. Happy with my purchase.

    Overall I am very happy with the product

    The pressure is adjusted by the twist setting at the bottom. Always shake the can before every use. The first squirt can be very hot. The cream cools down very quickly, but is far better than using cream from a cold can.

    If Warm Lather is what you like

    Bought this for my husband He owned one and it finally died after many years. We found the exact same one on E-bay so lucky we found it and the price was excellent. He likes to shave with warm lather.

    Easy to use.

    I've had one of these for years and wanted to get one for my son. So, I found one here on ebay and my son loves it. When traveling, I recommend that you remove the canister from the machine to prevent shaving cream from escaping. Replace the cap on the can and pack each item separately.
