The only slightly negative issue was that the manual was “warped” from being wrapped against the uneven contour of the machine! Thankfully three days under some very heavy books flattened it to almost “good as new” . Yes, I would trust this seller again.

    Handy alternative to corded units

    Having owned many X-10 controllers over the years, this was a welcome addition to the line. It's nice to have access to eight modules without having to switch between banks of four as on most of the corded units. The only thing it lacks that I think is important is an "All Units Off" button. Oh, and a full-bore device with 16-button direct access would be nice, even if a little bit larger, by necessity.

    X10 HR12A Remote control (RF)

    These remotes work great. You have to have the X10 receiver module to go along with it. If you by a used one you may have to take it apart and gently scape the contacts on the circuit board with a pocket knife. This will remove the oxidation. I then use a small amount of lacquer thinner to clean it up. Be careful it is extremely flammable. Hope this helps.

    Love my X-10 Controller

    Ive been using the X-10 system for about 20 years now. It solved some tricky switching issues. I have 4 of these controllers around my home and garage. Makes life much easier. I turn on and off radios, bath fan, display case lights, my neon lights collection and outside security lights. Couldn’t live without these controllers and the electrical outlets that go along with them.

    Very handy device that makes day to day activies a bit easier.

    I have several of these. I use them to control the house lights from just about anywhere I happen to be in the house. For a limited mobility person, it just makes life a bit easier. This particular one is a replacement for one that is about 12 years old

    Improvement from earlier design

    Better than earlier design, softer touch buttons. Other one lasted over 10 years and had button issues. Hope this one will last even longer. Used lithium batteries in the old unit and even after 10 years tested good.
