    Original Furby Toys

    These are complex mechanical and electronic devices. In general Furbies are very entertaining in that they actually talk to one another and are happy little people. The baby unit has very loud gears that almost drown out the small voice that comes out. I tried to lubricate the gears by taking the unit all apart but was not successful in quieting down the mechanism. The other babies that we have have quieter gears. The larger one seems to have the the motion detector not working properly as it starts up but wants to go to sleep right away. So what I am saying is that if you buy these units sight unseen, make sure that they are tested and working properly or else they are not worth very much money.
