    Combination of Luck and Strategy

    This is a relatively easy game to play and it goes pretty long. It has several possible strategies for winning and lots of ways to get points. There is definitely thinking involved and has some luck too. It's fun if you like working towards different goals and if you like options as to what to do on your turns.

    Fun strategic game for families or friends to play together

    If you like games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, etc. you would probably like this game too. Not difficult to learn and good game for friends of families to play together. Game board and pieces are sturdy and packaged well. There are extensions available for the game too.

    One of the classics

    Stone Age is part of the Mount Rushmore of board games. A game that gets this much play nine years after its release has to be a powerhouse. I can't imagine a group of board game enthusiasts who wouldn't have already played it or at least be eager to give it a go.

    Has some real charm.

    Stone Age is one of those hidden gems. Easy to learn and moves well. Quality board and pieces really add to this fun little game. A friend owned it when we first played, had to get my own copy.
