    Reliable as long as you manually reboot it every week

    We have a number of these installed and we have found them to be quite good. One recommendation to everyone who purchases this (or most network gear) is to put a simple digital 7 day timer on the power cord and set it to power off/on at least once a week. We have found that by doing this simpla task the router will go basically forever with the exception of firmware updates. Overall a good unit

    Product works but is virtually useless

    Product is as described and boots but cannot be managed by ASDM and the now deprecated RC4 encryption used on its management address is no longer supported by anything so very hard to configure and use.

    Excellent kit for CCNA learning

    Had a unique circumstance where I needed to learn Cisco IOS on routers and switches, on the actual hardware, and then I could concentrate on the CCNA curriculum. This kit was perfect for that. All hardware was operational and worked as described. Packaging was solid and shipping rates were great for the overall heavy weight. The rack was easy to assemble. I'm glad I went with the layer 3 switch option because it was necessary for my task. Everything was updated to the latest IOS that it would go on the units. If I had any gripe on this kit, it would be that it didn't come with any power cords for any device. I expected that with the phone unit, but didn't know I would need the for all of the routers and switches too. Fortunately I had tons of extra standard PC power cables available and ...

    Definitely not plug n play

    Unless you are deep in IT you won't have easy time setting it up. After few hours of coding it works great! It's a.great product for advanced users especially now since Cisco offers no support, no firmware, you're on your own.
