This series from STAR TREK creator Gene Roddenberry begins as a mysterious alien race known as the Taelons descend on the Earth. Proclaiming their peaceful intentions, the Taelons are greeted as saviors when they reveal they have the solutions to crime, disease, and famine. However, though the Taelons make good on their promises, some still doubt the aliens' true intentions. Some people aren't gonna like this.
Gene Roddenberry saw a great future for all of us. A future where we come together as one community to solve any and all problems. However the production team, decided no, we're gonna make the standard alien with secret agenda nonsense. Wasting the great performances of Ms. Parker and Ms. La Selva as well as so many others. The story in the right hands could have been epic, but theses men just couldn't get it.

The best of the 5 seasons but......
The entire series has sound issues. Have to keep adjusting the volume either too loud or too quiet. The ending music is super loud. Rattles the windows. No subtitles so no joy that way.
