Finally, a true bargain that works

I've tried many of the bargain brand inks online and was disappointed every time. My Epson drinks ink and I just could not afford the prices in the retail stores. When I put the first cartridge in, I held my breath. I was waiting for the usual error message. BUT, it worked and the quality is excellent. A great bargain for a quality product.

    Good price. Poor quality.

I ordered this product because of the good value pricing, but since using it in my printer it has blobbed large blots of ink at several different times of printing and it quickly ran out, far quicker than any ink I have bought at office supply stores. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed and don't know if I just got a bad batch. I have not tried the second one that came with it yet. I even had my printed checked out to see if I was having a problem with my printer. But, after nozzle and head cleaning for maintenance of my printer, the problem still persisted with the ink blotting.

  • Happy to find Epson Ink at such a great price!

Epson products are user friendly, efficient and generate great quality photos and prints. I am on my fourth Epson, having lost my others due to frequent moves over the years, but I always go back to this brand because of the good quality and reliable and courteous customer service that is provided.

  • Very affordable, works fine but tends to clog up the print head more often.

Most printer manufactures recommend using their own brand of ink because not just quality can be maintained but also so can they use your money. Some printer firmwear even checks to see if OEM brand ink cartridges are being used and warns you about the isues with not using genuine OEM brand ink. However, OEM ink is expensive because the printer was cheap. That is how printer manufacturers recoup the cost of making a cheap printer (in China or SE Asia). But these cartridges, by LD Products, were of decent quality and seemed to last a long time. However they tended to clog up the print head more than the OEM ink. I have two of these printers and both have clogged print heads after using third party ink cartridges. I never had problem when using OEM ink. So trade-off is quality versus price. ...

  • Good going on making quality ink cartridges that last, Epson!

About 5+ years ago, for reasons unknown, a friend threw out their old Epson printer which uses the 124 & 126 (higher yield) ink cartridges. I became it's new owner and started using it somewhat sporadically after finding out that it still printed text and simple graphics rather well. Being kind of a cheapskate by nature, I started buying ONLY older, i.e., 'past-their-expiration-date' OEM ink cartridges from Ebay vendors. After all these years of now steady use, the printer's durability is itself - a testament in reliability. And this, particularly considering it was a 'throwaway'. Yet even more impressive is that sometimes the expiration dates of the cartridges that I buy are "past due" by 4-5 years (one was even eight yrs.), and still they've all performed as if they were just ...
