Great for long time fans or general collectors
The order arrived earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise since it was a birthday present and I had time to wrap it and hide it away instead of scrambling to do that last minute. The contents were factory sealed and all in good condition and well protected. One gripe I had was some of the tape on the bag covering the box was attached *to* the box, so the box was ripped slightly when opening it. It's a great collectors item for hardcore fans of the Resi series, or someone who adores the original RE4. The figurine is very well made and detailed. It would have been nice for the map to come not-folded, and instead rolled up somehow. If I were to ever display it, it would forever have creases. The game itself has amused me since it came out on March 24th, so it's been a great few months playing it. I could list off a hundred things I love about the game, but I'll keep it short and say that it stands beside the original on the same pedestal in my books. It will never replace the og, but it does live up to it and there is a lot of care put into it. The steel book case looks great, and this might be me being over protective over the PS5 disc, but the disc holder is very strong and when I put the disc in for the first and only time it held on a little *too* well. It felt like the disc would bend when I took it out, the usual 'press and detach' plastic is not present. Overall I'm content with the purchase despite it being pricey, and I know that is mostly due to me grabbing this collectors edition late.
