Product Information

Gamers act as a double agent during the Cold War and attempt to thwart a conspiracy and prevent a nuclear holocaust in Alekhine's Gun. Players take on the role of Semyon Strogov, AKA Agent Alekhine, a former Soviet assassin who gets recruited by the CIA to uncover a coup plot against the U.S. government. The stealth-heavy action finds Alekhine donning disguises to infiltrate enemy compounds, steal important documents, exchange information with fellow spies, and then exfiltrate. But when called upon, gamers must also use firearms, garrote wires, and poison to eliminate threats.

    This is not what you would expect from Death to Spies

    I remember anticipating Death to Spies 3 for so long. Not many people had even heard of the first few games. I remember seeing the alpha footage trailer, and then the game went off the radar. Fast forward almost two years later, and I accidentally happen upon Alekhine's Gun: the new title for Death to Spies 3! I was so excited, I thought it had been canceled. "This is gonna be a rival to Hitman!" I said. But then I received the game in the mail. It all went downhill from there. You literally cannot see. The lighting is absolutely terrible. Nothing you adjust on your TV will fix it. I have no idea where I'm going half the time. Also, there's no way to adjust display settings on the in-game menu. The AI is something you would see in a 90's game. They forget any wrongdoing they witnessed ...

    clunky and just not worth wasting your time

    I love these types of games...I will give any game a chance it doesn't have to be a one of those big release ...high production games for me to like it...some of my favorite games are from smaller companies...a good game is a good game...this just is not one of them...there is nothing smooth at all in this game...very disappointing i don't even think an update can save it.... so broken in every way
