    Feature Packed Scanner

    This scanner has it all for a great price. Only missing the latest Phase II P25 trunking, but that's no an issue for me at this time. Given the price is more than 50% less than one of the latest models, it is a great value. Programming conventional channels was easy enough. I tried, and failed at programming a trunking system. So I downloaded the free trial of the Radio Shack scanner programming software from Radio Reference and ordered a Radio Shack GRE Whistler FTDI Chipset USB Scanner Programming Cable 20-546 ($23.99 from seller valley-ent) and had my local digital talk groups added in about half an hour. Scanner is working great. Digital channels are loud and clear. Conventional channels are as good as any other scanner I've had.

    Worth the investment

    By far the best scanner I have owned. Great quality build. Recommend purchasing a cable and software to make programing easier. I also swapped out the antenna. The stock antenna is reasonable but there are better ones out there. Reception is great and the LED color features add a nice touch.

    Good product

    Got this scanner after being out of it for a while. Grant it, it was pretty hard to program at first, took me a couple of days actually to figure out. But once you figure it out it is really easy to program. I did use Arc500 afterwards which makes it really easy to program. I wish i would of bought a programming cable right away for it.

    Pro 652 Scanner

    I was looking for a digital scanner that was easy to program manually. I found it in the pro 652. It pick up every frequency I needed loud and clear. It has some really nice features also, like different color lights that can be programmed for different channels. Great scanner at a great price.

    Really good scanner

    This scanner is really good, great audio quality. I did have one little problem with mine, the internal speaker went out after only about 5 days but I like using an external speaker anyway. this is the reason I only gave it 4 stars, other wise I would have given it 5 stars.
