Rec-room racers begin their journey to the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series in NASCAR 08 as they develop skills and earn licenses and contracts. Gamers learn the tricks of the trade in The Chase mode where each challenge teaches players an element of NASCAR racing. After gamers complete their training, they must race well to earn contracts offers and upgrades for their car. As they compete, players will set their wheels down on 22 different tracks including Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Watkins Glenn, and Talladega. nascar what can i say?
its a good enough game. ive tried, never got excited about nascar. i liked stock car that was gone by 1990. they are not real cars anymore. there is no 700hp toyota camry 2dr RWD that you can buy in the show room. but that aside, i cannot keep in the draft to maintain speed to keep up. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE GAME. ITS MY FAULT. i'm sure kids could play this, its just not for me. i prefer rally off-road racing and drift compititions. and demolition derbys. ive tried, but i dont get off on driving in a circle. my older xbox original version is better because i can race nastrucks at courses like watkins glen road course. 700hp is hard to handle, they just want to burn-out and spin instead of going straight. you drop out to the bottom of the track then hit the high wall. then get flagged for causing accidents. there is a real learning curve.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
