A waterproof, mechanical field watch with day date and color options at a great price!
I have a "standard" Seiko 5 with a cream face that I really enjoy, but I live be the beach and at 5 bar it's not really suitable to wear in the water. I found this SNZG09 and it ticks all the boxes, looks really good and is a fraction of the price of anything comparable (I had been looking at the Hamilton field watch with the earth brown face, but that's four times the price of this one). Boxes: mechanical, 10 bar, day date. I really like the green face! As with my Seiko 5 I did buy some easy change watch bands (I really like Barton Watch Bands) in silicone, nylon and sailcloth that give me a nice set of options for different occasions. All of these look preferable to the Seiko band. Face is clear, lumens bright, no problems going in and out of the water. Needs to be worn for a few hours each day at least to keep wound. Very high bang for buck value!

Watch is fine. As described. Communication is spotty. When asked whether it is shipping from Japan the response was yes and if i would like to buy it to go ahead (after i already bought and paid for it). When reached out again and asked since tracking showef a different country was told that the only remaining watch in the warehouse in Japan was defective so they are shipping from warehouse in Singapore. Sounds sketchy but who knows. I would apprecite the honest clear answer right away. When watch arrived seller included a note that extended warranty is offerred only for 5-star reviews. Hmmm. Watch is alright. Working just fine and shipping time was reasonable. Not the cheapest offerring but descent. Please improve communication.

Classy Timepiece for Short Money
Phenomenal value for the money. To get a quality automatic movement in a waterproof skeleton case for less than $100 is unheard of. Seiko might not be a fancy Swiss name, but the quality is there and it's a solid product. Day tags can be set to English or French, crown is a two-stop pull to set all functions. Dial is clean and functional, with sharp lettering in a nice, easy-to-read font, and military time in small letters besides. Flip it over and the movement is on display in a glass case. The only additional things I'd be looking for (titanium case, sapphire crystal) are not achievable at this price point. 100 years from now, this will be on display next to a Patek Phillipe... just with more scratches on the case.

Seiko 5 watch that is as good as new. Arrived as promised with quick delivery. No scratches. Ready for me to try different bands and straps. Already looks amazing on a nato strap. This is one watch that I'm sure I'll enjoy over the years.

Auto with pluses and one minus
On the plus side: The watch (for me) is the perfect weight. I own watches that are bigger and smaller, lighter and heavier and this is now my daily favorite. Like Goldilocks said, this is “just right”! I love the steady advance of the second hand and the see-through back (something I had not imagined at this price). Speaking of which, that price is incredible for ANY auto, let alone one this attractive and accurate. I have an $8000 Omega certified Chronometer that is no more accurate. The drawback (well, at first) was the watch could not be wound by hand. Wear it until it begins running, set the time and then wear it every day for at least 8 hours. Good thing I like it but it hasn’t stopped since I first put it on.

Good watch
Great watch. Easy to read and luminescence works well at night. You need to wear it daily or after a couple of days it will start loosing time as the automatic action needs to keep winding it. Not a big deal unless it is not your primary watch. I wore it all weekend and then not on Monday as I wore a dress watch to work and Monday night I noticed it needed to be reset. Perhaps if I wear it for a week it will do better but it does not bother me as it is. Good value.
