    you'll fun lots of uses for it.

    not bad for the price, took awhile to figure out some of the nuances, but works well. Haven't been able to figure out how to connect it directly to PC, might be my computer issues, but easy enough to move card to PC to transfer pics. yes, you have to buy your own mini SD card.

    Handy, lightweight, portable but streaky images

    The Magic Wand scanner is very convenient being so small and light. The battery life is also good for the intended (occasional) use. I also loved the base and ended up using it more than I thought I would. However, be aware of the quality of the scans which is not just bad, but from a different era bad. The banding that affects the scanned images is very pronounced and also hard to correct as it's not easy to align the scanned files to any bias image.

    EXCELLENT HAND HELD SCANNER ! GREAT SCAN QUALITY !!

    This is the first scanner I've owned. I wanted something portable that I could use on book pages. After figuring out how to use it, the image quality is excellent and easy to download to my laptop. When using the docking station to feed paper through it sometimes seems finnicky about taking the paper but it may just be me since I'm still learning. For the money you can't beat this unit. I highly recommend it !!!
