    First class power down device

    Although my older TV actually had a real on/off switch it had become unreliable. This allows me to power off and from the comfort of my bed. It was easy to set up from the clear instructions. Its a very effective product at a very reasonable price.

    Works as advertised and easy to setup albeit with a design flaw

    Delivers as described. Easy to set up. Only flaw in design is with some TV’s (e.g. 2018 LG models), if they have not been used for a while the 20 seconds the unit powers on before powering off again is not enough for the TV to sufficiently top up its power to switch on. Therefore it is necessary to unplug the TV from the device and into a normal socket to allow normal off power levels in the TV to restore before it will switch on.

    bought the the wrong thing because the description was not clear enough to me.

    the master slave function was not clear to me in the product description. that the slave function required coordinating with a TV etc remote control. i purchased to run a slave vacuum dust extractor, on a wood working tool. i was not able to make it work for this specific role so i cannot claim judge this items role for working with TV peripherals for which it is designed.

    Works well, efficient and cost effective

    Works very well - tv and ancillaries shut down after a few seconds of putting tv into standby. I had another of these for a few years before it finally stopped working. The replacement works like a champ.

    Money savers

    Bought a power down plug 2 years ago for TV as I could not get into socket to turn TV off. As my wife is not very well I bought the second one a few weeks ago for the TV in the bedroom to save her getting out of bed to switch it off at socket they are well worth the money and saves on electricity
