Catherine Deneuve, Gerard Depardieu, Heinz Bennent in a theater in occupied Paris
A 1980 film directed by Francois Truffaut, a great story: moving, funny, exciting, happy ending. (Google for more details.) Criterion collection has done a good job of preserving the film on DVD, with a second DVD of interviews with the participants.
