      Delivery services (UPS) thow the package into my backyard like piece of SHIx during a heavy rainfall condition. No delivery notification phonecall, nor e-mial message, nothig just this unacceptable service. Switch to another delivery service fqq755! This is not the bery first problem with UPS, I have very bad experience with.. According to a carefull packaging, survived with a few mayor damage on the paperbox and water leaked into it. Raiser cards NOT tested yet waiting for dryout.

      RAID works great, battery does not

      Works great in my HP Z420, able to get a RAID 5 set up no problem. Unfortunately the battery is not functioning whatsoever. It is very much dead and bulging. The ROM menu reports that the battery has failed and needs replaced. So I'm not sure how their testing works, but clearly not all issues are identified. Other than that it works perfectly and I will eventually figure out the battery problem, just kind of annoying.

      A good controller, but in a simple desktop PC it is unusable unfortunately

      I know this controller, it is a older model, we use them in Gen6 hp servers at my working place. I wanted one to use one at home in a PC, but I would have never thought that their usability is limited for servers... It is my fault, next time should be checked before purchase...

      Great RAID controller

      Being familiar with the P410 I can recommend it to those who may be building a home NAS or other server and want RAID capabilities supporting a lot of drives. This is an HP product and I have only tried it on HP server hardware so I can't say how it works on other platforms. The controller supports two SAS channels so that you can have up to eight hard drives connected to it and it works with either SAS or SATA drives. Configuration is easy using either the configuration ROM setup during boot up or the Array Configuration Utility from a desktop application available from HP. There are many other RAID controllers out there but none are as cost effective as the P410.

      Excellent service

      Delivery was relatively quick. Can't blame the delay in customs. One of the lot however didn't work. Before I could blink with my eyes the money was refunded. Excellent reliable reseller.

      Great addition to homelab server

      Works in ESXi 6.7 without much issue. Ideally meant for support HP branded servers, but also works in HP branded workstation (z420) after a BIOS settings change.
