About this product

Product Information

Gamers form a party and set off to rescue the kidnapped religious leader Agnès Oblige in Bravely Second: End Layer. The first sequel to Bravely Default, End Layer finds players traveling around the world of Luxendarc, exploring dungeons, and engaging in turn-based battles. Each character has a set of Brave Points during combat, and gamers can use the Default command to shield themselves and bank points, the Brave command to do extra damage by moving up to four times in one turn, or the Bravely Second command to freeze time and attack foes, though doing so depletes the SP gauge.

Players can customize their party's jobs, abilities, weapons, and special moves, and Bravely Second lets gamers summon friends to help in battles via StreetPass or Internet connection. StreetPass users can also help rebuild the character Magnolia's home on the moon and fend off attacks from powerful enemies called Ba'als. And if players want to earn some extra in-game cash they can take on a mini-game where they craft and sell plush toys.

This Collector's Edition comes in special packaging and includes the full game, a ten-song soundtrack, and a 250-page art book.

  • Bravely Second

The job class has been expanded well with job points grinding more faster. However, you are forced to choose your path between morals or conveniences. You choose your jobs through fighting the losing factor. For example, red mage wants to develop a new type of energy source for the people to have access to in their daily lives, though it ls at the cost for the people of the Burning Sands of anchiem. The source for the power needed requires the water gem. And... Thief Jackal is managing the the drying oasis for the unquenched thirst of each traveler of the desert regardless of status. He needs to have the water for the people of anchiem to survive. This requires the same water gem to be placed where it belongs. If you fight the losing factor, you will not obtain the winning factors aterisk for the job. There's with elderly information as I do not do spoilers but provide examples. However advice. When choosing which job to take, even if it seems for the right cause, or your convenience. Your strategies must change in order to ensure your victories for now and later on. The music is well done and unforgettable, the decisions affect the game but more importantly, the player as it involves you more than ever. You are part of the game and it makes you feel of importance which games try to strive for and not another knock off shooter game which rewards the skill and leaves the new players to learn hard lessons. Like all Japanese rpgs. Things have been cut and censored out which is a common practice, however, despite that heartbreak, if it involved a customizing character of your creation as the main protagonist of for an adventure with the Warriors of light, Tiz, Anges, Edea Lee, and Ringabel. And in this Bravely Second, Magnolia Arch and Yew Geneolgia *hoped I spelled it right* This game would be a top seller undisputed. Every gamer wants to customize and be part of the story in every rpg. It's time for Square Enix to make this happen. I don't mind waiting three years for this to happen. I hope they listen to me and put my name in the credits for this thought and for my review. The battle style needs a more realistic edge rather than the far away impossible to reach distances where a sword cuts you by looking at it swing from 5 yards away. For the normal damage animation and critical animation. The special moves I must say are fine the way they are but they can be improved with its transitions. Like what bravely second's use of... Bravely Second Time Stop, a nice one sentence use before the main attack to have a cutscene where it leads from your team to break away and take on your target enemy(ies) with seeing the attack through for YOU, the player to be face to face with your enemy to strike down. All in one action without cutting out your allies from the spotlight. Linked specials, dynamic realistic combat, full customization control, and how about choosing a side, your soul to be black or white, choose your allies to fight on the aterisk battlefield and call on support from your pendant. Also keep chomping because kawaii. Customize weapons and outfits. Wear an emblem, build a city from dust. Make a name for yourself. If bravely third can be made this way and keep its art style with its unique soundtrack. That would be the only thing I ask from Square Enix. However, this must be on the handheld system 3DS. Nintendo future has been always successful on handhelds. Square Enix. Don't let me down. You are my last hope

  • Must have for classic JRPG fans

Personally, l purchased this Special edition mainly for the artbook, since l bought this for $50, and on Amazon, the artbook ALONE went for ~$47... so l decided it'd be worth it to get everything. The artbook is fantastic, it's chockful of gorgeous work and truly inspiring for artists of any kind. l really enjoyed the artwork/concept arts included. Apparently the English version has censored/removed some artworks for no reason, so keep that in mind if you care enough about it. The game is great too; l enjoyed the demo, and l'm happy to be playing the full thing. lt's been pleasant so far, can't comment too much about it as l've only played it 2 hours. The mini soundtrack included has 10 tracks from the actual game, so they aren't re-orchestrated/composed pieces, it's literally just the tracks in the game. Personally, l don't think the soundtrack for BS was that great, and l don't think it was enjoyable to listen to the tracks from the game by themselves. Also, because they're directly from the game, every track on the CD is actually just 1-2 minutes long, and just looped 2-3 times for the rest of the duration for the track. Won't be listening to it anymore than one time. Overall, this is worth it if you find it for a good price (don't get ripped off by scalpers), and if you're going for the game/artbook.

  • Excellent price for an excellent game

A very good deal for one of my favorite games. I ended up paying below what I was seeing this going for everywhere else and I'm glad to add this to my collection.
