Do not buy this if you intend to run this printer from a network This printer seems to have serious software issues for networked situations.
This printer continually keeps dropping the connection between desktop terminals after 1 scan or copy and needs to be reset every time. Not recommended at whatsoever. I have had HP 7500 printers for years and no bother until we wore them out. This is the second 7612 printer we have installed in the matter of weeks and both the same. Great machine but took a while to set up properly.
The instructions that came with the printer were not in English and the driver seemed to work initially but the printer cartridges were not docking properly and I kept getting a paper jam message. I was surprised to get such a good quality machine which does both A3 and A4 and double sided at such a reasonable price. The only issue I have is that it goes into slumber very quickly and you have to manually turn it off and on to get it to work again.
