LOVELY BOOK
I really enjoyed this book and the author's delightful depiction of both the characters and the environment. She describes the scenery and atmosphere beautifully and the story is full of amusing asides, especially when describing the characters and their thoughts. This is one of my very favourite novels, as it's full of old world charm and subtle comedy with interesting characters. I love the picturesque descriptions of the garden mentioned in the book, as it evokes the most colourful images in my imagination.
