Unfortunately, the item was defective. However, the seller refunded the purchase without issue. Disappointing, but otherwise a positive experience. Reputable seller!!

      • My new-old-stock TI Program Recorder works great

I picked my TI Program Recorder (light gray model from 1982) up on ebay for around $50 shipped, it was new old stock, unopened, unused. It came with an adapter cable to hook it up to a TI 99/4A (and prehaps other models) AND it also came with an adapter cable to hook it up to a Tandy CoCo 2 (TRS 80 as well?), which I was surprised by. It also came with the power cord. These have built in transformers so it's just a cord, not a "wall wart" adapter These can also be powered by C cell batteries. I have used my TI Program Recorder to record TI 99/4A games off the internet as well as data for the Household Budget cartridge and it has worked flawlessly. Would I recommend this program/data/audio cassette recorder? Yes BUT keep in mind that these are 40 years old and some of them will have belts ...

      • You Made my Day - From Apple Computer to Naval Intelligence !!

Wow! This is in such great condition it would be a collector's item! But I am putting it to great use, although I wrote a anti-submarine warfare simulation in 1982 that Apple Computer wanted to License and when the Navy got hold of it I am invited to Naval Intelligence Meetings in Alameda Naval Air Station. Now Electronic Arts is interested in it.....but I first need a reliable TI Program Recorder I can depend on. Thanks so much guys! YOU MADE MY DAY!

      • Great piece of vintage computing hardware

Program recorder kept in great condition with original packaging and manuals. A testament to the quality of older computer hardware that works fine even after these many years.
